Roll call to obtain quorum; 7 associations represented.A quorum present; only 3 need be present.

Budget Discussion:Most activity was a discussion of a budget for next year.The results will be published in the Associationís newsletter as required in the bylaws.


The research budget was increasedto $4,000.There was discussion about how to use this money most effectively.Motion that this money be primarily used to buy research colonies and materials for those scientists doing active study on bees when requested by Greg Brown.Secondedby Wayne Miller (passed).


David Webb, the new vice president will investigate fuller use of the Associationís membership in the Florida Fruit and Vegetable Association.


Budget of $28,000 moved for adoption by Bert Kelley, seconded by Doc Bullard (passed).
