Thomas Sanford Jr. Family
Thomas Sanford Jr., b. Dec 1644; bap. at Milford, CT, Dec 1644; d. in New Haven, CT; Mar. (1) 11 Oct 1666, Elizabeth Paine, dau. of Wm Paine of New Haven; Mar (2) Elizabeth "Gibbard." He was a freeman in 1669 and allotted land in 1680. In 1721 he deed land to his son Samuel, Grandson, Wm., and gave his son John his remaining estate. He left no will nor is there a record of his death. There were ten children, all by his first wife, and all born in New Haven (per New Haven Registry).
